Sherina is The Runway Project Boston Director. She has over 10 years of professional experience working directly with entrepreneurs and the social impact organizations serving them such as Uptima Business Bootcamp, Interise, CommonWealth Kitchen and Growth Partners Solution.
Sherina is a native Bostonian, graduate of Simmons College and heavily involved in the local community. She served on the Board of Directors for Dorchester Bay Economic Development Center for over 10 years and chaired the economic development committee. She has also served on several City & State committees and strategic planning committees. She reviews SBA small business loan applications and co-op loan applications for Local Enterprise Assistance Fund (LEAF).
Sherina has the unique ability to see an entrepreneur’s vision and, connect them with resources to help them make the best strategic decisions to position them for growth. Her passion and genuine desire to see entrepreneurs succeed is what makes Sherina such an asset to the local business community. With Sherina’s guidance entrepreneurs are creating long-lasting businesses, creating local jobs, accessing capital and reviving their communities.
Sherina is a foodie and when she isn’t working, you can find her going to food trade shows, visiting restaurants she saw on the food network with her husband Dion and 3 children (Dion Jr, Madison & David).
